I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in International and Public Affairs at the William R. Rhodes Center for International Economics and Finance (Watson Institute) at Brown University. My research focuses on political economy with data-driven applications to the topics of central banking, populism, and European party politics. I mostly use Natural Language Processing to explore these subjects. I am also an Economic Consultant at the European Central Bank and teach Economics for Public Policy at Brown University. I have conducted research at the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, and the Inter-American Development Bank. I have received my PhD in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2020. I co-authored with Robert Skidelsky the book, Austerity vs Stimulus (2017, Palgrave).
