Scottish novelist and playwright, best known as the creator of Peter Pan. Born and educated in Scotland, he moved to London where he wrote successful novels and plays. Inspired by the Llewelyn Davies boys, he wrote about a baby boy with magical adventures in Kensington Gardens and later penned Peter Pan, a famous fairy play set in the fantasy realm of Neverland.
