Stormlight is great! One interesting thing there is what happens when progress is wiped out every ~thousand years

Oooh that's cool. I just read Way Of Kings and was thinking about this in that world as well. Very different tech/magic but it's all handed down from ancient times and relatively constant although there were hints of progress with the fabrials

The Way of Kings! I started reading regularly again once I started substitute teaching after only ever reading a couple books here and there during college, but Way of Kings put me on a huge kick to where I'm reading almost as much as playing games now and buying up lots of books
