banshees of inisherin was a good movie

Saw Banshees last night. Not the best movie to watch after a terrorist attack, but did not realize that ex-ante. It's not exactly an uplifting look at the human experience. Some call it a comedy. Not me. It's disturbing and gets continually darker. But it has much to say about 1/

Perfect acting, beautiful cinematography, a script that melds the poetry of absence with slaps of dark comedy. Martin McDonaghs’s The Banshees Of Inisherin is one of the best portrayals of male friendship and mental health I’ve seen on the screen. 🧵
