I've been tez-ing for the past one month or so & after collecting more than 250 artworks, I'm convinced that everyone should tez.

Why Tez? Because it is liberating.
I felt that the usual stress associated with selling art on tez was muted v/s eth. Artists are fearless about experimenting and the community encourages it.
If you want to express through art, you should tez.

Why Tez? Because it is energy efficient.
One day very soon we'll have to confront the reality of the environmental impact of NFTs. I think we all have a responsibility and as we mature as a community, we must explore every avenue that offers a cleaner route to art.

One of these images sold for 20 eth and the other is on tezos secondary at 95 tez (as 1/27); 20eth v/s 4 eth aggregate. Next edition for sale is at 300 tez.
Plenty of value based collecting opp.

Why Tez? Because it's a great opportunity to meet new ppl & create new bonds.
Tez community is one of the most chill communities I've been a part of. Everybody is having fun, talking art & cheering each other on. And so far everyone's winning.

AI art on Tez is 🔥. These AI artworks are evolutionary steps transforming art from the way we've known it into something completely different. Gets me immensely excited.

There's tremendous opportunity for artists to establish now and set up for success in future.
Photographers have an even bigger opportunity as it is a whitespace ready for domination.

Why Tez? Because it is an incremental opportunity, not an alternate opportunity.
Imo tez & eth collectors are somewhat distinct right now so the demand/supply dynamic is insulated in one from the other (esp if you differentiate your art on chains)

Why Tez? Because $0.20 gas! Can you imagine that??
I hate that I've spent so much energy & eth on gas. An edition of 0.03E until recently costed b/w 0.05E - 0.06E. I love the fact that I spend on art on tez and not transaction costs.

Why Tez? Because why not?
But before jumping in, take a moment to reflect on how you want to go about it. Spend some time exploring other artists, look in some wallets & contextualize all of that to your situation and chart a course.

Why Tez? Because it levels the playing field.
Artists in most parts of the world cannot afford eth which means they don't have the same opportunity of turning art into a sustainable career for themselves.
Also, Tez won't ban.

Oh and one last thing, put your best foot forward on tez. If you treat it as a marketplace for your eth rejects, you would be doing yourself a huge disservice.
Treat tez with respect and it'll reciprocate.
