2. Like 90%+ of the people here, my first real experience with the NFT community was through Twitter. We have built something special here.

3. From legendary threads by people like @punk6529, to the positive posts and educational spaces of @ohhshiny, and the vibes of @deezefi, NFT Twitter has something for everyone.

@punk6529 @ohhshiny @DeezeFi 4. We have some of the greatest working artists in the world - I truly believe this - and we can interact with them on a daily basis. We have collectors who have built world-class art collections. We have brilliant tech innovators. We even have a whole cadre of fantastic lawyers.

@punk6529 @ohhshiny @DeezeFi 5. There are lots of problems with social media, but one of the largest is that you can never truly get to know someone on Twitter. To get to know someone, you have to move the conversation to DMs, then to voice, and maybe even video.

@punk6529 @ohhshiny @DeezeFi 6. It take A LONG TIME to build a relationship on Twitter. The relationships that can be built in a couple of nights of laughter and drinks often take months on social, if they ever form.

@punk6529 @ohhshiny @DeezeFi 7. NFT NYC gave many of us the opportunity to meet friends and people that we admire in person for the first time. In the last week, I met @clairesilver12 and discovered she’s as kind and brilliant in person as she portrays herself here.

@punk6529 @ohhshiny @DeezeFi @ClaireSilver12 8. I met @lphacentaurikid and we discussed the Muse, whose artistic vision he follows without question. I met the dynamic duo of @yakobelmoussa and @aylaelmoussa and we laughed and joked until our faces hurt.

I had coffee with @guidodisalle, @dangiuz, & @defidefenselaw - all Italian - and learned about them, their country, and who they are as people. I even had breakfast with @0xquit and talked about life. I’m leaving so many people out of this list it’s embarrassing.

The point is, by meeting these people in real life, my connection to all of them - and theirs to me - is now deeper than it ever would have been if our relationships only existed in virtual spaces.

I can’t even name them all, but I had wonderful conversations with @austinlonestar, @klutch_nft, @pepenardostudio, @lordjamievshill and many, many others.

The takeaway for me, and I suspect for many of you that attended, is that meeting IRL lets us grow our relationships more than we otherwise could. It lets us form bonds quickly. It lets us become friends, rather than just acquaintances on Twitter.
