I really like the Revolutions podcast from @mikeduncan. It provides a broad historical overview by looking at these incredibly intense inflection points. And they are so relevant to today.

Revolutions Podcast.. the Russian season it’s crazy. It’s crazy how Lenin, Trotsky and the Bolsheviks managed to snatch the largest territory in the world just like that… a couple of exiles in a couple of years

Revolutions podcast (covering the English, American, French, Haitian, Spanish American, 1830 July, 1848 pan-Europe, 1871 Paris Commune, Mexican, and Russian Revolutions) is excellent, as is his previous podcast, The History of Rome.
