Will DeFi Come to Bitcoin? That is the great question of this bitcoin cycle. Many bitcoiners including myself have been predicting that DeFi will come to Bitcoin but it hasn’t been happening.

Earlier today Adam Back, Udi, Muneeb, Alex B, and a few other active bitcoiners got into a debate about the future of DeFi. It eventually sparked a Twitter Spaces Debate where everyone including Udi, Lyn Alden, Alex B, Eric Wall, Brad Mills, Shinobi, Jeremy Rubin, Lamar Wilson, D++, and Hodl Magoo jumped in to add their perspective.

There was some serious back and forth in this episode on whether or not DeFi will survive outside bitcoin. Some still believe that Ethereum or Solana will be the ultimate champion, others believe that Liquid or Stacks will be the ultimate winner.

In the end, I want to continue to increase the level of dialogue in the bitcoin community. I entered the bitcoin space during the blocksize wars and I was thankful for the bitcoiners who were willing to get up on stage and debate because it lead me to becoming 100% bitcoin only.
