I saw Dune on HBO Max in May for the first time and it was amazing... wow.

watching it right now, again, for the 5th time

I read the book twenty years ago. Forgotten almost as much as I remember. Really torn on rereading because the film is so good so far. I was so disappointed by Apple’s butchering of Foundation.

Dune is one of the best films I've ever seen. A great coming-of-age film, brilliantly written, directed, acted and executed. Themes of responsibility, destiny, religion, worthiness, maturity, duty, loyalty, power, talent, gifts, all woven together flawlessly.
