"Vietnamese-Americans love Donald Trump. They are the most pro-Trump Asians you will ever meet in your life. And it is precisely because even though they are directly benefited from the Refugee Asylum programs instituted in the seventies, they are also like, 'we worked our asses off to integrate ourselvees into American society. We love American society. We are now wealthy because of American society.
We are scared what socialism will bring because we have such a pitched, emotional psychological reaction to the fall of Saigon and how it absolutely ruined our lives... my mom's family of 12 was eating nothing but pumpkins and rice because they were not allowed to have food.
