And there are interesting convergences with other trends in the sciences of life and mind: Arguably, an agent’s sense-making also involves such historical constitution across multiple timescales, maybe even crossing generations. link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11229-019-02240-7
And there is also the historicity of the ambient array, specifying environmental properties based on their past trajectories, which has implications for how to think of the brain.
