You learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Now what?

Now you focus on becoming a programmer. 👇
Hear me out.

While I consider myself a developer, I still struggle with referring to myself as a programmer.

I'm using the Brilliant learning platform to learn how to become one.

With the recent surge of AI and the fear of it taking all of our jobs, focusing on skills that will make us more relevant is becoming more important.

The Computer Science track on Brilliant is designed to do just that.
1. Computer Science Fundamentals

This course does a great job of easing you into learning how to think like a computer scientist.

This course gives you the tools you need to become a programmer rather than someone who is simply moving boxes around on a screen.
2. Introduction to Algorithms

Sometimes you need concepts explained in a manner that makes sense and this course does exactly that.

Try it out and you'll see exactly what I mean.
3. Algorithms and Data Structures

Start here if you're a new developer that wants to start learning algorithms.

The scary aspects of algorithms you've been warned about are explained in a way that will give you much more confidence when you're tasked with working with them.
4. Programming with Python

"Python?! I only know Javascript!"

That's a good thing because if you already know JS, you're going to pick up Python very quickly.

This course will get you started on the programming language that is being utilized every day in the world of AI.
5. Introduction to Neural Networks

This is a course designed for those that are new to Artificial Intelligence

The concepts you will learn here will help you build a foundation for understanding artificial intelligence, machine learning and how a neural network adapts to data.
Along with the Computer Science track, @brilliantorg offers a ton of different learning paths that will improve your way of thinking.

My personal favorites were:

- How Technology Works: Every dev should take a look at this.

- Logic: Changed my way of looking at problems.
@brilliantorg - Data Analysis Fundamentals: Skills that are invaluable as a programmer.

The number of things you need to learn in tech can be overwhelming, but Brilliant does a great job of teaching them to you in a way that makes sense.
@brilliantorg If you're a new developer or someone who is thinking about becoming a programmer - do not get overwhelmed.
