VW announced plans for Scout EV factory in South Carolina. $2 billion. 4,000 jobs. 200k EVs / year.

US EV manufacturing capacity is projected to exceed 4.5 million EVs per year by 2030. 2/5
Dongwha announced an electrolyte factory in TN. $70 million. 68 jobs. 80k tons/year.

Amprius announced plans for silicon-anode LIBs in CO. $190 million. 332 jobs. .5 GWH/year (phase 1).

Both support projected US battery cell mfg capacity > 800 GWh / year by 2030. 3/5
American Battery Technology Company announced plans for a lithium-ion recycling facility in NV.

We are now tracking 8 new recycling plants in construction or planning.
