    Email marketing is one of the most important tools to utilize to grow your business. With its far and wide reach, using it effectively can help anyone grow overnight. But, used in the wrong way it can also break your business down overnight. Matt Treacey does a great job of explaining the largest pitfalls he has witnessed in email marketing over his career, along with the greatest successes (and how you also can get there). He covers traffic and conversion, cart abandonment and increasing repeat purchases, and event just how to captivate your target market's attention with your email strategy. This is a must-read for anyone in email marketing or looking to grow their business utilizing it, as he tells you everything you need to know, before you get to the point where you realize you should have known.

    This book cuts through a lot of nonsense and elegantly explains how to do growth marketing with email.
    It's been drummed into my head often that the most import aspect of building a company today is growing your audience. Email trumps social follows by far.
    The whole book draws on natural ecosystem design and it's an absolute pleasure to read. I personally love ideas that are based off natural systems which have evolved for much longer than us humans. We still have a lot to learn about organic emergent growth.
    I think the author pulled this off well. It has zero marketing ick factor.
    Highly recommend.

    For those who want to or currently use emailing tactics for marketing, this book was very helpful with tips and tricks to effectively market through them. Not only does it show the how, it shows the why–why it’s important to use certain tactics and how that affects your audience and business.

    The topic itself is a new one and so it's nice to hear from an expert who's worked with top authors and brands to do 6-7 figures in sales from the effective use of a subscriber list. Love a blueprint heavy book which this is - be ready to execute.

    This book takes an engaging, story-telling approach to automating email marketing for your business, making it a nice alternative to most books and courses subject, and an especially good choice for people like me, who like learning through stories. There are also a number of good graphics and charts throughout for visual learners.

    The author draws on his background in ecology, and concepts from the natural world most of us know about, to explain what can go wrong in an email marketing list and automation, also using personal experience from past email marketing campaigns.

    While it takes a storytelling approach, there's a ton of practical advice around using email to drive revenue, through things like increasing average order value/AOV, improving customer retention and encouraging repeat purchasing, and generally increasing LTV of a customer.

    I heard Matt Treacey on a podcast and really resonated with his ecological analogies, as i started to my small online biz after decades of permaculture practice. I was also intrigued by the cover, which is refreshingly NOT a standard business book cover design, but appeals to my enjoyment of lay-science and creative nonfiction. So I signed up for the 3 free chapters, and before I'd finished them, I'd purchased the ebook. Now that I've read it all, my only regret is not buying the print edition so I could fill it with sticky notes.

    I immediately started implementing tactics and rethinking strategy. Understanding my 8 year old biz as an ecosystem isnt new but this is not a superficial metaphor. The rich complexity of Matt's perspective has made me fall in love with my business' foundations all over again. This feels like the opposite of shiny object syndrome because I have many of the Natural Orders elements already in place, I just wasn't seeing them properly.

    This is the best business book I've read in years. Sure, I would recommend it for anyone starting an online business, but even more enthusiastically for anyone who's established online biz has grown a bit stagnant.

    A well written, well structured, inspiring, practical book. Quite possibly life changing. Check back with me in a few months once I've had a chance to roll out all its recommendations.

    Ich mag den Aufbau den konstanten Vergleich zur Natur. Ich bin ehrlich, das hatte ich gar nicht erwartet, auch wenn der Titel das natürlich verspricht.
    Es gibt einen sauberen Einblick in Email Marketing Automation im Allgemeinen und anschließend noch konkreter für E-Commerce.

    Für meinen Geschmack hätte es leichter geschrieben werden können - es wirkt teilweise sperrig.

    Alles in allem ein gutes Buch.
